Our mission

At G.R.A.C.E. Gardens, our mission is to create a vibrant and inclusive community epicenter in Bracebridge. We achieve this by providing diverse recreational activities, engaging arts programs, and essential community services, all aimed at bridging opportunity gaps and fostering personal growth.

Arts & culture

Unleash your creativity with our diverse arts programs. From pottery to painting, discover your artistic side.

Cognitive Behavioral therapy at its core! In the daily hustle we often lose ourselves in stress and worry feeling lost and confused on our purpose in life. Being creative is the very key to unlock our passions and dreams providing meaning and fulfillment.  

 

Recreation

Stay active and healthy with our recreational activities. Offering a south facing platform overlooking spectacular sunsets in the community garden you will be surrounded by wellness and peace in a space where you can explore mindfulness through yoga practices.

Community support

Find the support you need with our community services. We're here to help you thrive.

Offering educational field trips and daily excursions for local Retirement Homes, Public Schools and Community Living dependents.

With a shortlisted program that offers a stipend and accommodations for those applicants with needs for community support to work in the gardens and around the premises ensuring safety and inclusion for all.

Educational workshops

Expand your knowledge and skills with our educational workshops. Learn and grow with us.

Cooking - Having a working community kitchen with sign up classes that also offer meals to the public and those limited to healthy meals there is a once a week temple soup kitchen. 

Homesteading - preserving food, collecting and organizing seeds and pantry items, garden work, foraging, and wildcrafting.

Networking - a bulletin board for communicating needs and services across the community. 

Meeting space - a large open area where meeting with the public can be held and rented out for private functions and celebrations or gallery pop up shops.

Permaculture is like a biodiverse institution engaging the public to connect the dots in all economical and ecological spheres.

G.R.A.C.E. Gardens Recreation Arts Community Epicenter is dedicated to building bridges across opportunity gaps in Bracebridge, Ontario. We provide a safe and inclusive space for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to connect, learn, and grow. Our unique blend of recreational activities, arts programs, and community services makes us a vital resource for the region.

The local board of directors is a diplomatic council based on a hybrid platform of a working non for profit organization with cooperative leaders and members all working hands-on together.
